It doesn’t matter what you call them – colour photocopiers, a multi-function device, a printer or even a Xerox machine!

Things have come a long way since the early days of photocopiers. Back then, it did just that, copied page after page – often from the top of the scanner, or if you were lucky from a sheet feeder at the side of the device. These days the ability to scan, fax, print and copy almost goes without saying. Colour is often expected as a standard feature of a copier, but actually for may organisations its not an essential requirement for all of their devices. Many businesses would rather save costs by printing and copying in black and white – purchase price and ongoing costs are cheaper. The advantage of opting for a colour device is of course it gives you the flexibility to print in colour should you need it.
